Happy Fourth of July!!

Ethan had quite a busy first Fourth of July! We spent some time at the JCC waterpark, where Ethan splashed and chattered in the pool. Later in the day (and after a skipped nap), we went to my parents' house, where we enjoyed some kebabs, cole slaw, broccoli salad, corn on the cob, and fruit skewers. Ethan had his favorite meal - corn, squash, and rice cereal, with a side of banana yogurt and puffs. 

Since we are in the midst of a horrible heat wave, there are limited options for viewing fireworks. On the one hand - YAY...no noisy blasts to wake my exhausted baby (see today's nap situation, above). On the other hand - no fireworks on baby's first fourth...BOO. While we did not get to see any fireworks, we did get to spend time with some of our favorite people!
